The Himmel Award is held in honor of Betty Himmel “in recognition of creators, conceivers, radical thinkers and risk-takers that provoke new thinking in art and design.” This virtual Himmel Award and Lecture evening will be in memory of Mary Lou Beitzel and David Beitzel, and in honor of the long legacy of support for the Katonah Museum of Art from the Beitzel family.
