Be a part of art—climb into Chris Larson’s full-scale replica of a local home and participate in:

12:30 Build-a-Village Design Challenge
Learn about architecture and planning as you design and build a village in the KMA sculpture garden with your family, friends, and the amazing educators from Arch for Kids.

3:30 Treehouse Workshop
Investigate the world of architecture in the trees and create your own arborial dreamhouse. 
Ages 6 and up. $10 members, $15 non-members, advance registration recommended.

3:30 Stories of Home
with Akiko Busch, Deirdre Courtney-Batson,and Pamela Hart
Join a poet, a writer, and a historian for a reading and conversation about home and relocation. Learn about the oral history project at the Katonah Museum and Katonah Village Library; sign up to record your own memories of home and change.

All afternoon

  • Up close and personal, see real-life construction vehicles
  • Architecture-inspired art activities for everyone
  • Record your memories and thoughts of home in the KMA’s Oral History Booth
  • Penny Lick Ice Cream and Ladle of Love sell delicious soups, sandwiches, and
    gourmet ice cream
