The KMA Book Club

The KMA Book Club
Tuesday, July 27, 7:00 pm

The Museum is launching a book club this summer.  Our first book is Rachel Kushner’s Telex from Cuba about a group of Americans living in Cuba on the eve of the revolution. The story is told through the eyes of the children and wives of the American executives overseeing 300,000 acres owned by the United Fruit Company.  Nominated for a National Book Award, Telex from Cuba draws on family stories, extensive research, and Kushner’s own vigorous imagination. The Washington Post cites “…a pure treat from the cover to the very last page…”

Copies of the book will be available at the Katonah Village Library
