KMA Book Club

KMA Book Club
Wednesday, April 17, 8:00 pm
Join us for our spring Book Club discussion of one of Alice Walker’s early and important works, “Everyday Use,” from her 1973 collection In Love & Trouble: Stories of Black Women. This cornerstone story uses quilting as a metaphor. The Katonah Village Library book group will join our gathering, as we consider the connections between quilting, art-making and story-telling.

Free; advance registration required. A tour of the exhibition Beyond the Bed: The American Quilt Evolution is followed immediately by the book discussion. Attendees must read the selection.
