Experience a collage of music in the KMA sculpture garden. Co-produced by the Katonah Museum of Art and the Caramoor Center for Music and the Arts, this lively trilogy of concerts brings together three musical genres: roots, jazz, and classical. Advance reservations highly recommended.

June 12 – Spuyten Duyvil        
Hailing from the Hudson Valley, Spuyten Duyvil charges the air with their traditional jug band energy, soaring vocals, and amped-up lap steel guitar and Chicago-style blues harp.

Jazz bassist, and composer, Gregg August’s sensational rhythms span jazz, Latin, classical and avant-garde music scenes. He is joined by soprano saxophonist, Sam Newsome, and drummer, E. J. Strickland.

Strains of Handel, Beethoven, and Françaix float upward through the Sculpture Garden trees, as this classical quartet of flute, oboe, clarinet, and bassoon plays selections composed or arranged for wind instruments.

$15 members, $20 non-members; admission includes complimentary beer and wine. Doors open at 6:30, concert starts at 7:00. In the event of rain, performances will take place off-site. Check KMA website for details.
