Corning Museum of Glass TripJoin the Katonah Museum of Art for an exciting weekend trip to the Corning Museum of Glass from October 12-14, during the height of the fall colors.

This adventure will incorporate other museums, famed spots, and special accommodations.

Here is an outline of the itinerary:


Friday, October 12

Saturday, October 13

  • Day as special guests at the Corning Museum of Glass view Glass Collection, Hot Glass show and various demonstrations in the Science & Technology Center, plus take part in the Make Your Own Glass experience ...and, of course, shop!
  • Dinner at The Knoll as guests of Marie McKee, President of the Corning Museum of Glass. The Knoll is the Houghton family homestead. The Houghton's were the founding family of Corning Glass and The Knoll is reserved for special Corning functions and VIP groups.
  • Back to Watkins Glen to sleep

Sunday, October 14

  • Johnson Museum at Cornell University curator-led, special tour
  • Lunch (on your own) at Cornell's numerous dining spots
  • Return to KMA

Join fellow art appreciators and enjoy insider tours/guides at all the Museums on the itinerary. This will be a full, yet well-paced weekend. Cost: $1399.00 per person based on double occupancy. This fee includes a $300 deposit, which is a tax-deductible donation to the Katonah Museum of Art. Single supplement: $359.00


The cost is inclusive of the following:

  • Bus transportation leaving Katonah on Friday morning and returning to Katonah on Sunday evening. Bus available throughout.
  • Hotel - Harbor View Hotel, Watkins Glen, NY (2 nights)
