Literary Lunch

Monday, April 27, 2009
11:15 am – 3:00 pm

The tenth annual Literary Lunch features David Sanger, Chief Washington Correspondent for The New York Times in conversation with Bob Schieffer, Chief Washington Correspondent for CBS News.

David Sanger is one of the most trusted correspondents in Washington, one to whom presidents, secretaries of state, and foreign leaders talk with unusual candor.  In his new book, The Inheritance: The World Obama Confronts and the Challenges to American Power, Sanger tells of crucial, heretofore-hidden events in Washington and around the globe that have culminated in the world crisis that faces America today.
Bob Schieffer has covered Washington politics for CBS News for more than 30 years and has anchored Face the Nation since 1991.  He is the author of Bob Schieffer’s America, as well as the 2003 New York Times bestseller, This Just In: What I Couldn’t Tell You On TV.
The Literary Lunch is at Abigail Kirsch’s Tappan Hill in Tarrytown.
