School's Out/ Art's In

School’s Out/Arts InTuesday, March 22 - Friday, March 25
Drop-in, 10:00 am – 3:00 pm

Participating children: $5 members, $8 non-members.
Regular museum admission applies for adults. 

Looking for a fun and engaging activity to enjoy with your child on school vacation days? Stop by the Katonah Museum of Art’s Learning Center during the spring break for School's Out/Art's In: unique projects for kids up to age 12, such as nest-weaving or birdhouse building, related to the exhibition, The Nest, an exhibition of art in nature.

DATES/ PROJECT DESCRIPTIONS:

Tuesday, March 22 - Nest Material Hanger
Use bits of string, ribbon, and other everyday materials to help local birds weave their nests.

Wednesday, March 23 - Building Birdhouses
Assemble and decorate special birdhouses.

Thursday, March 24 - Creative Nests
Create unique nests using found and natural materials.

Friday, March 25 - Fantastical Bird Masks
Use your imagination to create spectacular bird masks.
