Distinguished scholar Dr. Lewis Kachur gives a fascinating overview of the Surrealist revolution launched in 1920s Paris by a group of artists and writers who experimented with various techniques to liberate the mind and tap the unconscious.  Dr. Kachur will discuss Salvador Dalí, Max Ernst, Alberto Giacometti, Joan Miró, as well as Kay Sage and Yves Tanguy—an invaluable background to our current exhibition!
