Programs for Teens

The Katonah Museum of Art is committed to making art accessible and fun for teens. Through its Teen Council, teen-centered programming, and internship opportunities, the Museum supports and celebrates youth leadership and creativity.

KMA Teen Council

The KMA seeks motivated, arts-interested high school students to join its Teen Council.  Students meet regularly to take an insider role in developing programs and working to create a welcoming environment for all audiences. The 2022-23 Teen Council will run November to June. Contact education@katonahmuseum.org for more information.

Young Artists Exhibitions

This annual exhibition of high school seniors' artwork from member schools gives aspiring artists an opportunity to participate in all aspects of a museum exhibition. With the guidance of professionals, the young artists organize, publicize, curate, and mount their own exhibition. Modified plans are being developed to adhere to safety protocols while maintaining the integrity of the program. Contact the Education Department, 914-232-9555, ext. 2969 to find out how your school can participate.
