The Katonah Museum of Art, in partnership with Bedford Books, welcomes bestselling author Alexandra Andrews for a conversation and book signing around her new thriller, The Fine Art of Lying. Set amid Manhattan's art world elite, the novel follows a Park Avenue wife drawn back into a life she'd abandoned—only to become entangled in a murder investigation. Andrews will be in conversation with Michelle Ruiz, Vogue contributing editor and host of the podcastThe Smut. The talk will be followed by a reception and opportunity to meet the author. Copies will be available for purchase courtesy of Bedford Books, in person and at bookshop.org.
Alexandra Andrews has worked as a journalist, editor, and copywriter in New York and Paris. Her debut novel, Who Is Maud Dixon?, was published in twenty-eight languages and named a Best Book of the Year by The New York Times, NPR, Time, the New York Post, and Entertainment Weekly.
Michelle Ruiz is a Vogue contributing editor and a culture journalist with a diverse portfolio that includes work for Vanity Fair, The New York Times, and other prominent publications. She is also the host of a new podcast titled The Smut, which explores themes of sexy pop culture.
