The Pollack Family Learning Center Portrait Mode
July 14, 2024 - January 26, 2025
Learn about the art of portrait photography in our interactive space! Snap shots in the photo booth, create and add your portrait to our collaborative exhibition wall, read picture books in the story corner, and experiment with other photo-related projects. Young visitors can consider how artists make choices about subject, pose, gesture, lighting, and perspective. They will practice capturing themselves and those around them through a variety of artistic tools, techniques, and media.
ART HISTORY TIMELINE
Look up in the Learning Center to see the 80 silhouettes that form an art timeline. They were selected to represent important art moments around the world and throughout history.
Timeline Cards are photographs of artworks created by people from different cultures and time periods.
