Creative Community Fridays: Artful Families

Stimulate the imaginations of children aged 2 to 5 with captivating stories, hands-on art activities, and interactive gallery experiences inspired by our current exhibitions. Join us on the third Friday of each month for these engaging sessions, where we introduce new themes and activities to inspire creativity and learning.

November 17: All about Weaving!
Weaving is the ancient craft of constructing a fabric by intertwining yarn or thread. For this program, young artists and their families will look together at textile fragments and woven garments from ancient and contemporary Syria in our galleries, and experiment with their own weaving project. We will begin with Storytime in the galleries followed by a short object inquiry and artmaking in the Learning Center.

Registration recommended. Free with Museum admission.
