Explore the rhythms, contrasts, and textures of Shen Wei’s art to inspire your own creative writing response in this immersive poetry workshop. Through the lens of language, with guided prompts and moments of quiet looking, you’ll discover new ways to translate visual movement into words.

Pamela Hart is an award-winning author, poet, and the KMA’s Writer in Residence where she teaches and manages the Museum's Thinking Through the Arts school program and Building Bridges: Prison Arts Initiative. Her book, Mothers Over Nangarhar, winner of the Kathryn A. Morton prize, was published in 2019 by Sarabande Books.
