Add a dose of artistic fun to school vacation days with kid-friendly, artist-led projects, including magical creatures, textile arts, and mixed-media sculptures.
Ages 3-8 with an adult. Ages 9-12 can be dropped off. KMA Member Child $6, Non-Member Child $12. KMA Member Adult Free, Non-Member Adult $12, Seniors $6. Registration required.
Tuesday, April 12: Artful Muffins
Art meets food in this special cooking workshop led by Renana Shvil of Fiddle Heads Cooking Studio. Inspired by the whimsical tree artworks on view, we’ll use a variety of plant parts to make carrot muffins with pumpkin seed topping and lavender-maple butter.

Wednesday, April 13: Imagined Landscapes & Creatures
Build an alternate environment with imagined creatures and plants using an assortment of surprising materials.
Thursday, April 14: Fantasy Fabric World
Sparked by artist Jeila Gueramian’s fantastical installation, create a magical fantasy shadow box using fabrics, felt, ribbons and other textile materials.
Friday, April 15: Monster-Making!
Use clay and found materials to create a sculptural monster inspired by the Haas Brothers’ imaginative artworks.
