KMA Gala and Auction

March 27 2026 5:30pm - 10:00pm

Join the KMA's Board of Trustees and Gala Host Committee for a celebration of art, community, and inspired thinking in honor of Jonathan Becker, Friends of John Jay Homestead, and the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation.

Each year, the KMA Gala and Auction brings together luminaries, artists, cultural leaders, collectors, and the KMA community to celebrate excellence across the arts. This evening features a lively cocktail party, seated dinner and program, silent and live auctions, all held in the bucolic setting of the acclaimed Blue Hill at Stone Barns.

5:30 PM  Cocktails + Silent Auction
7:00 PM  Dinner + Program + Live Auction

The Gala is the KMA's most important fundraiser of the year and proceeds from the event serve as a vital source of support for the Museum's acclaimed exhibitions, educational programs, and forward-thinking initiatives.

About the 2026 KMA Gala and Auction Honorees:

Jonathan Becker

One of the leading visual storytellers of our time, Jonathan Becker has photographed some of the most celebrated figures across modern culture. A protégé of Brassaï, Becker began his career as a photographer for Interview and Town & Country before serving as a long-time contributor to Vanity Fair and Vogue. He has published several books including Bright Young Things: New York & London, with Brooke de Ocampo (2000 and 2003); Studios by the Sea: Artists on Long Island's East End, with Bob Colacello (2002); and Jonathan Becker: 30 Years at Vanity Fair (2012). His 2024 retrospective exhibition Jonathan Becker: Lost Time, was organized by the Katonah Museum of Art in connection with his monograph of the same title edited by Mark Holborn and published by Phaidon Press.

For nearly five decades, FoJJH and OPRHP have served as a model of public-private partnership, working alongside one another to steward and enhance this nationally significant site through exhibitions, educational programs and preservation projects.

New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation
